Facing America
'Facing America: Portraits of Refugees Resettling in the U.S.' attempts to fill the gap between what we know and what we see of refugees in the media. I photographed 19 refugees from Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Sudan, Congo and Eritrea who have been resettled in New Haven, Connecticut. Facing America was commissioned by St. Ann & the Holy Trinity Church in Brooklyn Heights. Curated by Harry Weil
